Professional-grade 23.5 carat gold leaf, supplied in a booklet of 25 sheets. This is the gilder's standard for exterior work with a gold content this high, the leaf will not tarnish, oxidise, or fade, making it the correct choice for headstone and memorial inscriptions, signwriting, weathervanes, railings, and any gilding exposed to the elements.
We use this exact leaf in our own memorial restoration work. Re-gilding lettering with genuine 23.5ct leaf restores inscriptions to their original brilliance and, applied over a properly prepared surface with oil size, will outlast any gold paint or imitation leaf many times over decades rather than seasons.
